MENTORSHIP & CONSULTING
Patty Flores provides mentorship to youth and adults on their education, life, and career. Mentorship and clinical research consulting services are also provided to undergraduate students, graduate students, agencies, universities, government entities, and researchers. These services include support with schoolwork/assignments, resource allocation, research and development consulting, and personal and career guidance.
Consulting
Patty is a research and development consultant. Patty’s clinical research consulting services could benefit other mental health counselors when serving populations such as foster youth, incarcerated people, immigrants, etc.… Patty’s lived expertise, work, and educational training could better inform mental health counselors how to better support the communities that they are working with. Patty provides research and consulting services to a variety of individuals in different professions who provide services to marginalized communities.
Research
Patty has experience conducting research with professors, graduate students, and administrators nationwide. Her areas of research include foster youth, immigrants, incarcerated youth, linguistics, mental health, Latinoamerica, LGBTQ youth, and anti-racist practices and principles in institutions. Patty has also been a community advisor to graduate students and researcher in gathering data.
